Looks like there’s a bit of a delay between CreateSpace & Amazon – I’d heard that approving the proofs would release the books, but couldn’t find a solid timeframe for how they’d move across the platforms. So although the books are technically out on time way over here they could take a day or two to start popping up everywhere they’re supposed to be (aka the main amazon page). Sorry, lovies. Live and learn, right?
There’s more I want to say but I’m too sleepy to be coherent, had to write that last paragraph like 9 times to make it make sense, so I’ll talk to you all in the ((real)) morning. <3 <3

Anyone in NC who is trans or in a same-sex marriage who is intending to vote in the November elections should start making sure all their voter registration info is up to date now.
If you’re not registered to vote yet, don’t put it off, in case things mysteriously take longer to process for state-documented LGBT people.
NC governor pat mccrory is up for re-election. So are many of the NC Congressmembers who just made it legal for the state to deny you rights. Expect them to do everything that is now within their legal power to stop you from having a voice.
Other states are trying to pass similar laws that will affect LGBT folks in those states. Please signal boost this. This is some fucking evil bullshit.

After you inform your state’s office, register again at your state’s online voter registration service and then keep checking so see if your registration is being processed.

Hello! I know you have your asks off for a reason, and I suspect you might have gotten asks on this subject in the past, but a couple friends and I are absurd fans of TFC and I’m a sports nerd and we really want to try and make Exy a reality. We’re really not sure at all yet on how we’d want to do it, but I wanted to ask on your thoughts about this. I’m totally obsessed with this idea, I hope I’m not bothering you too much, but it’d be so extremely awesome, don’t you think? I’d like to thank you (so much!!!!) for writing such an amazing story, it really changed me as a person, I think, and a lot of other people, too. I’m tempted to say it’ll probably be the normal Amazon rate for shipping within your country since Nora is working through Amazon as her publishers and is well aware that a lot of the fandom is Europe based/global (not just US)…
I would hope that since she’s given us the prices in $/£/€ the books will be published for all/in the areas that the ebooks were being bought..Umm but yeh that’s just my speculation and as with the prices the only one who is really in a place to answer with any real knowledge is Nora @korakos herself so let’s go to her again(?!)

Er, good question, but I’m sorry, I have no idea! I’m assuming that it’s the same as Amazon would charge for any other book order, but..? D: It’s not something I set on my end for sure – I haven’t seen anything about it in the list of options.

I cannot sleep because my home state of North Carolina passed a sweepingly broad anti-trans/transmisogynistic piece of legislation today intent on killing more trans people and pitting oppressed people and workers against each other.
I am full of rage that HB 2 passed in less than 12 hours. today we sat in the hearings and debates on this bill listening to white supremacist, transmisogynistic white people tell trans people that we are predators, that we are inhuman, that we cannot be survivors ourselves. we swallowed tears and rage as politicians played with the lives of queer and trans people of color. HB 2 is not just about peeing, it’s about making sure that trans people, specifically trans women, working class people, youth of color, and all oppressed people know our place. it’s about making sure that we know how clearly they want us dead by denying us public accommodations, any sort of legal protection on the job, a living wage.
North Carolina Black Lives Matter QTPOC coalition has called for a demo at 5:45pm at the governor’s mansion (200 N. Blount St, Raleigh, NC). be there because we are shutting this shit down.

I like the smaller font much better! ((and it shaves off pages in the final product, so production price went down, wooo)) Covers 2 & 3 are finally aligned enough to stop giving me heart attacks. Now #1 is off-center. Trying to figure out if I have enough time to fix it ((and go through the review/approval process again)) or if I should just put myself out the bedroom window and call it a day. I think I have time to try once more, but next chance will be the last chance.

To answer your tags: I don’t think I have the right kind of account to have pre-orders. The way I understand it, as soon as I sign off on the proofs Amazon starts uploading it to the site itself as available for purchase. ((supposedly there’s a short delay sometimes? I was digging around for answers but got distracted))
