Holy shit, that is a mega deal.  Even if you don’t play it like an MMO at all - it makes a pretty entertaining single-player game, with a lot of strong writing, great characters, gorgeous environments and entertaining boss fights.  (Yes.  Me the frothing-at-the-mouth group-content-player is telling you that.)  Allllll the issues for under $21. is sort of a mindnumbingly huge amount of content.  Very worth it IMO.

It’s Monday! That means it’s time for you to tell me about your week. ((how last week turned out, what you’re doing this week, either one)). @ me anything!

Remember how short my update was last week? This week it’s even shorter because I have been doing exactly one thing this past week: playing The Secret World. It’s Golden Week in-game, so there are nonstop world bosses and double AP boosts, so I’ve been running my secondary toon into the ground trying to get her fully leveled. Whoops.

This is what a responsible adult looks like, ya’ll. I guess life’ll return to normal after the event ends tomorrow.

Today I worked late and then walked all the way thorough icy slushy puddles and rain in soggy heels to get to my car but when I turned the key in the ignition nothing happened. D:  I just finished studying for some field visits (looking at salt piles, lol…did you know salts natural angle of repose is 32 degrees???) tomorrow. Excited to get out of the office. Work has been extreme ~stress~ lately and I only survived through heavy doses of de-stress day-dreaming. Firefly was my target this time around. What’s not to love about a motley crew of space pirates. My brain is fried so that’s all the updates from me for now. Have a great week!!!

I never was able to get into Firefly, but tbh I didn’t really try? I saw Serenity and I think managed one and a half episodes and then fucked off elsewhere ;D But I’m glad it helped you escape the stress of work!

• neil: Eighteen, turns nineteen in TKM. (Everyone believes he’s 19-turning-20 until TKM.)
  
• andrew, aaron, kevin: 20 (not legal to drink yet)
• nicky: 23
• dan, renee, allison, matt: 21-22, i think? they’re first-year seniors

I think Son Nefes might be the only place that touches on Renee’s age gap? She turns 24 in Sept of Neil’s freshman year – she was late finishing school on account of everything she was dealing with growing up.

The rest of the ages I’m too drunk to actually double-check :D eyyyy
