I wish I could give you a yes, lovie, I really do. I’ve been staring at this Ask all day, checking it off and on at work and poking at it again afterward. I thought maybe I could somehow make an exception, because today is my birthday too, and maybe it’d be something fun for both of us.
But so many hours later, I have nothing to offer, and nothing left to give. I’ve been trying so hard to work the Foxes out of my system, to get them out of my head so I can move on to other projects at last, and after all this work & stress I think I’m finally getting there. For the first time in 17 years I can’t write the Foxes. All I can manage are these Asks, and even these are going to have to stop eventually*.
I’m sorry! :(
((Christmas, for anyone wondering – my Christmas present to myself is to take a break from Fox Asks. That gives me until the New Year to answer anything left in my inbox, and I can start 2016 without these kids in my thoughts. They’re still friends, albeit long-distance ones. They don’t go out of their way to see each other, but if they’re nearby they’re likely to drop in for a drink or a bite. Neil and Kevin are more likely to text than call, but now and again Kevin will call Andrew. ((He knows Andrew will pick up))

At the time Allison was conceived, the Reynolds Resort in Montego Bay was Mrs. Reynolds’ favorite vacation spot ((she has since changed her opinion to the resort in Bangkok)). “Jamaica” had a little more flair than “Montego” as far as she was concerned. Rich socialites, man, what can ya do?

The original draft got chucked in the trash during one of the moves, and I have only scraps of the second or third draft. I’d have to dig ‘em up, and they’re absolutely awful, but. Yeah, I was the artist for all the drafts. ((My sisters are artsy, I just sit here and attempt to ruin lives via words))
