This is why I did not junk my old computer when I got the new one: I just turned on my external drive ((which has all of my documents on it–my new computer literally has nothing but games and the internet right now, whoops)), and my computer said “Hey, you know you need to format this before you use it, right?”
and the external hd is empty

((Trying to remember if the old computer has my music & digital pictures on it or if I shifted them off when the computer started acting up. Not like I needed to keep those 4000 pictures of Japan forever, right?))
