Tumblr, I don’t remember if you & I have talked much about what Japan means to me or why, or if I left most of that rambling for the other blog. Just know that if the fixes @thislittlebadwolf and @coldsaturn suggested hadn’t worked and I’d lost all of my photos of it for good, you probably wouldn’t have heard from me again until next winter at least. I am not even joking.

But. But. The fixes worked. The links worked; the program worked. My computer has successfully recovered 235,000 files from the external harddrive, 9600 of which are photographs ((4200 of which are from my two years in Japan)).

There is a high chance I will post some pictures of Japan over the next week or two in a frantic effort to reassure myself that these pictures still exist. Sorry in advance. :O
