I have a question abou writing TFC in general: what was first, characters or story? I mean, did you thought "I want to write about this and this" and then fit Foxes and their characters into what you've been writing or you first created Neil and rest and have their presonalities and them build the story?

TFC came from the simple line of thought: “I want to write a comic about gay athletes”. Neil & Kevin came next, the other Foxes showed up as obligatory teammates, and 400 pages into the first draft of the comic there still wasn’t a real story, just a drawn-out series of events. The actual quasi-coherent storyline came several drafts later.
