Happy birthday!!

I wish I could give you a yes, lovie, I really do. I’ve been staring at this Ask all day, checking it off and on at work and poking at it again afterward. I thought maybe I could somehow make an exception, because today is my birthday too, and maybe it’d be something fun for both of us.

But so many hours later, I have nothing to offer, and nothing left to give. I’ve been trying so hard to work the Foxes out of my system, to get them out of my head so I can move on to other projects at last, and after all this work & stress I think I’m finally getting there. For the first time in 17 years I can’t write the Foxes. All I can manage are these Asks, and even these are going to have to stop eventually*.

I’m sorry! :(

((Christmas, for anyone wondering – my Christmas present to myself is to take a break from Fox Asks. That gives me until the New Year to answer anything left in my inbox, and I can start 2016 without these kids in my thoughts. Not to say I’ll be ignoring Asks next year, because I don’t want to be rude, but I’m going to be… significantly slower? more selective? as I try to shift gears.))
