This pretty much sums up my day!! I joined gywo so I’m working on writing 450 words today and listening to classical music with my smol rat son. As soon as my awful cold is over with I’m starting practice on audiobook recording.I’m so impressed by people who can learn languages, especially self taught. I know some asl and i know braille up to level two, but i am the Worst at learning things like that.
!! A rat! Is it true they are as smart as people say? My sisters had some pet rats for a while but that was after I was out of the house, so I never really got to see them interact. HELLO RAT SON.
ASL! Brilliant :O Such a useful thing to know – such an unexpected yes I can communicate with you, I’m here. You saw the video of the mall Santa & the little girl speaking ASL? and/or the Disney princesses using ASL for a child’s first visit? ((Maybe I saw them on your tumblr, it’s so hard to keep sources straight)). Amazing. One day I’d like to study it.
We have some braille Starbucks cards at work – a customer and I were just talking about how fascinating it was, and how impressive that people could learn it. Nicely done!
Good luck with the writing! Go go go go go
