OK so you probably noticed we’re going with 3.31 – in part because some craziness slowed things down on my end and mostly because it’d mean more ((to me at least)) to use Neil’s birthday instead of Kevin’s. Also, that extra time means there’s a 2% chance I’ll consider changing the covers. ((I know at least half of ya’ll think they’re ugly as sin, but I’m fond of them, I hate working with graphics, and I am lazy af. So. 2%.))

Random unasked-for trivia:

1. I have two calendars hanging on my wall over my bed. One is from 2000, the other 2001. These were a lifesaver while working on edits, because those were the years I built the story’s timeline around. Maybe on April 1st I can finally take them down and put them away somewhere for good.

2. In one of the more recent drafts, Neil had a friend of sorts – or at least someone he could tolerate – on his Millport team. When the Baltimore disasters happened, she reached out to him via Wymack, and that phone call was what triggered Neil into wondering if the Foxes were his friends too.

3. Kevin Day, #2, 2/22 birthday. 22 Ravens on the line-up. 22 names between Neil and the truth. Up until recent drafts Riko gave Kevin & Jean Japanese names to answer to that included their numbers. Kevin was Fuji, written 不二. ((Jean was Miki, 三木, and Neil was Yoji, 四字)). 不二の不二 ((Ya’ll know that Neil’s number was supposed to be 4, and I think I mentioned somewhere that Andrew was supposed to be 7. 724: Wymack’s apartment number.))

4. In honor of Kevin, the breakdown of NCAA Exy regions ((which was hell and a half to sort out, but a necessary headache when trying to determine if I had enough schools & states to get through championships)):
