Guess who doesn’t have to move to Pennsylvania??? aaaaaaaa

Had a long talk with a sister the other day after making that post about it. I got her to admit that she would hella prefer to go straight to Portland without making shortstops & running aground in PA. Finally admitted to her that I had absolutely no interest in moving up there ((for various reasons including the fact that SNOW happens in Pennsylvania, eff that)). Oregon is a lot more risk & a lot more upfront cost ((gotta take us, our cat, and our things 2900 miles northwest of here)) but we decided the risk would be worth it.

So.. Portland. ((which is where I wanted to move when I left San Francisco in 2012, so this is a move long in the making))

But I hesitated to come post here on Tumblr after that victory because I was like “Maybe she will change her mind again or something will happen?” but last night I convinced her to let us apply site-unseen to an apartment I really liked the look & location of, and twenty minutes ago I got a call from the leasing office saying we are approved. WE ARE APPROVED, IT IS OURS.
