1. Supposed to be asleep right now because I have to get the sister from work at 4am ((4hrs from now)) and then go to work afterward, but can’t turn my brain off long enough to sleep. At least there’s wine.

2. For someone who complains an awful lot about her debt I put an awful lot of alcohol on my credit card. Peace of mind has no price tag, I guess.

3. I switched from contacts to glasses when I left SF, but got measured for contacts on Tuesday and have a trial pair for a week. ((tried going back to contacts last summer, but the brand they gave me was slightly too thick and irritated the crap out of my eye)) Today I managed to convince two coworkers – whom I’ve been working with since August of last year – that no, I have never worn glasses before, perhaps they are thinking about someone else? One day I will get tired of fucking with my coworkers, but today is not that day.

((My favorite episodes of Nora Likes to Lie to People::: I have a metal plate in my chest, consequence of a car accident as a child that left a gap in my rib cage– the plate was installed to help protect my heart;;;; & I scratched my tear ducts out as a child during an allergic reaction and therefore am incapable of crying))

4. I have already come up with my next pen name. I am still not writing, though.

5. 25 days left in North Carolina. In a month and two days I will be picking up my keys in Portland. I have already told the sister that we will not set foot in NC again, not even for layovers. At some point I’m going to have to actually buy the plane tickets to Portland. and.. y’know, find a new store to work at.

6. Got Tumblr Savior, finally, and kind of went on a spree blocking the books & shows I’m not interested in. Nothing against them for the most part, I just see an awful lot of their things on my dash. Now my dash is kind of creepy quiet though. Win-lose?

7. A couple people have commented on my addiction to read-mores ((almost called them LJ-cuts, my age is showing)) and I know it gets really irritating on mobile, but. For my peace of mind I like putting things where I can edit and delete them, esp since I delete more entries than I actually post.
