I don’t regret coming back to America, because regret is a waste of time. Can’t change what’s happened, and a lot of things wouldn’t have happened if not for the way life turned out. But I can still be bitter from time to time.

Beppu is located in eastern Kyūshū and is famous for its hot springs. Steam vents from the ground all over the city. The eight most famous springs are referred to as the Hells, which allows for one of the greatest souvenir shirts I’ve ever seen: 毎日が地獄です. I will keep this shirt until the day I die.
