“I think Battlestar is one of those shows that will continue to be enjoyed because at least at this point, it’s not dated yet and it’s still relevant to what goes on in our society. I watch The Walking Dead and I’m like “Wow, if Battlestar was 10 years later in the era of bingewatching when it originally aired, in the era of Twitter and social media, would it have reached those kind of masses initially?” Because it’s a very similar story in many ways of human survival and the depths that people go to to survive…” Tricia Helfer [x]

Hey, tumblr, just realized it’s a new year! That means two things:
1) I have to watch The Force Awakens again, I haven’t seen it since last year
and
2) It’s time to rewatch the greatest show on earth aka

TRUE STORY:
I loaned a coworker the pilot DVD so he’d get hooked so I’d have someone else to talk to about it. Then he never returned it, then he moved to Tennessee. No idea what happened to the DVD itself, he swears he couldn’t find it
So instead of ordering the pilot DVD off ebay I bought an entire new set of season 1 because I needed the pilot to be in the appropriate slip disc so I could add it to my boxed set as if nothing had ever happened and the DVD hadn’t gone missing
No idea what I’ll do with discs 2+, foist them off on a sister I guess
ngl every time someone says BEST SHOW EVER and they’re not talking about the Battlestar Galactica remake I side-eye them so hard it’s not even funny
thank you mysoulforcoffee for introducing me to this show
